I am honored and excited to return to the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) to give a lecture at the annual conference that will be held on Tuesday 12.21.21 | 9:00-14:00 and will deal with the subject in which I have specialized over the years - "material". The conference will present the subject from different perspectives and examine the impact of the use of new materials in the world of design, as well as the ways in which new approaches to materials affect design processes using "traditional" materials.

Prof. Dov Ganchrow, Gili Kuchik and Ran Amitai, Dr. Ariel Blonder and Shira Shoval, Tal Haring, Shlomit Bauman, Arch. Natanel Elfassy, Shahar Livne, Dana Zelig, and also the conference organizer, Dr. Yael Eylat Van Essen who assembled and built this diverse and rich program.
In my lecture "Materials from two realities" I will share ideas and possibilities for innovation in the field of materials and will present important principles of the practice of material innovation (Material Innovation) using examples I have chosen from various areas of application, with an emphasis on the design perspective: creative thinking, research and knowledge gathering from experimental, industrial and traditional fields and the meeting of the material with the users.
